Fashion Hairstyles 2013-2014 Autumn & Winter

The 2013 fashion week has just rounded off last week. On the runway, the designers not only broadcast their new collections of clothes, shoes and accessories, more importantly, the trends on the latest makeup and hairstyles are shown. “Faux-Hawks” at Fendi, super-sized curls at Marc By Marc Jacobs and two-tone ponytails at Alexander Wang and etc. Here , I pick 10 of the most representative looks from the 2013 cat walks, which will definitely show the trend next season.

Slicked Back
Giambattista Valli swept-back, unparted styles – worn slicked to the head at the top and matte and straight at the back-look set to be autumn’s extension of spring/ summer 2013’s dual textured trend. Particularly sleek styles were on shown at Giambattista Valli, Gucci and Elie Saab, whereas the look had a more casual feel at Balmain.
Seventies-Meets-Forties
Bottega Veneta Glamorous Seventies-style waves were give a Forties twist with side partings and hair worn flat to the head at the top. Waves were super-sized at Marc By Marc Jacobs and L’Wren Soctt, while at Bottega Veneta, Manish Arora and Rochads and the look had a more retro feel.
Tucked-In
Tucked-in hairstyles first appeared on the highway at 2013 spring/ summer shows, while for the autumn/ winter 2013-2014, they were everywhere on the highways.
Fringes
Full, Sixties fringes were on show at Emilio Pucci and Anna Sui, half-fringe styles at Marni, and choppy, side-swept versions at Clements Ribeiro and Marc Jacobs. And the best news? Almost all of the fringes were fake, so this trend doesn't necessitate coming into contact with the scissors.
Tangled
Prada Perhaps one of the harder trends to translate into real life, tangled, wet-look waves gave the models a just-stepped-out-of-the-shower insouciance at Marni, Prada and Giles. Perhaps a more wearable version is the Lanvin one, where the damp-looking hair was gathered into tousled ponytails.

The Sleek Low Ponytail
Either slicked back at the crown or parted deep on one side, low, glossy ponytails as straight as arrows were the look of choice at Alexander Wang,Donna Karan, Jil Sander and Chole.
“Real Girl” Hair
Burberry Prorsum
Gentle, natural-looking waves were spotted backstage at Isabel Marant, Calvin Klein and Altuzarra, whilst at Christopher Kane the look really was real - no product was used at all. But the best "real girl" hair of all was at Burberry, where each girl's own hairstyle was merely enhanced rather than changed - Edie Campbell got to keep her jet crop and Karlie Kloss sported her famous bob on the catwalk too.

Punk Rock Rebellion
Marc Jacobs
Joan Jett wigs at Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs, daring "faux-hawks" at Fendi and similarly spiky styles at Haider Ackermann, Jeremy Scott and Junya Watanabe. The autumn/winter 2013-14 woman may be ladylike and sophisticated, but the season's girl is a punk rocker with plenty of attitude.
The Hitchcock Heroine Up-Do
Dolce & Gabbana
Beehives at Dolce & Gabbana, twisted styles at Carolina Herrera and Hitchcock-movie hair at Loewe - sophisticated and ladylike up-dos matched the similarly "grown-up" clothes on the catwalk.
Crimped
Derek Lam
Yes, crimping is back! It's not one of the biggest trends of the season but it was very much present at Zac Posen, Rick Owens and Carven, whilst at Derek Lam the hair was plaited to make crimp-like imprints in the hair once they were untied.

All in all, the new hairstyles trend 2013 accent on natural beauty. If you just want to have your hairstyles changed, full lace wigs will be a good options for you. Follow the natural hairline tutorial.
